Join acclaimed artist Chila Kumari Singh Burman in conversation with IWM’s Director General Caro Howell and Jonathan Badyal, Partner at Trafalgar Strategy, as they discuss Chila’s influences and work. ‘Chila Welcomes You’, a major new art commission for IWM North opened earlier this year. It offers Chila’s personal perspective on the heritage of conflict and stories of Indian migration to Britain after the Second World War.

Following the talk, limited edition prints of Chila’s work will be on sale, each individually hand-embellished by the artist. Finally, enjoy a private evening viewing of Chila Welcomes You, seeing the exhibition with a new perspective.
