Part of the Contemporary Visual Arts Network North West’s ongoing research and development focused on the activity of artists and organisations in the region.

The uniqueness of a location is intrinsic to place-based work. This symposium will trigger conversations, through a series of keynote provocations, curated panels and break-out rooms, to get influencers and organisers connecting and sharing what is happening on their own patches. The event will focus on connections and conversations across geographical boundaries and across sectors, with those involved bringing their specific interests and specialisms to make things happen.
