The New Potter Place is a dedicated opportunity for an emerging ceramicist to exhibit at the inaugural Chester Ceramics Fair, taking place at the Storyhouse, Chester, on Sunday 15 November 2026.

We’re looking for a local ceramicist (within 25 miles of Chester) who has been practising for one year or less and is ready to take their first steps into exhibiting their work to the public.

The selected maker will have the opportunity to exhibit alongside a curated group of independent ceramicists, meet visitors, gain valuable exhibiting experience and have their work promoted through the Chester Ceramics Fair website and social channels.

There is no additional fee for the New Potter Place opportunity.

Applications are open throughout September 2026.
