Figuring Out... National Lottery Projects Grants

Designed for artists who are planning to apply to Arts Council England’s NLPG programme

Mark Devereux Projects is pleased to invite applications from visual artists to join our new course, Figuring Out… National Lottery Projects Grants. Designed for practitioners who are planning to apply to Arts Council England’s (ACE) National Lottery Project Grants programme (NLPG), you will be guided through a programme of group workshops, helping you build a robust application ready for submission.

Led by experienced curator, mentor & fundraiser, Mark Devereux, you will receive tailored support and information to develop your project plans and application within a small group of artists. Mark will break down, in detail, the various processes required and dissect the core questions in the NLPG application form. Each session will include a mix of information and open discussions which will directly feed the writing of your application. By the end of the programme, we aim to make sure you are ready to submit a strong application for funding.

We feel it is timely within the current climate to focus on helping individual artists make strong funding applications for their creative projects. This programme does not guarantee a successful NLPG application, but we hope the skills, knowledge and support we offer will breakdown some of the barriers you may face in making a strong application.

Figuring Out… is led by Mark Devereux, independently from Arts Council England. The workshop shares Mark’s extensive knowledge and strong track record helping individual artists & organisations receive successful grant applications.
