Freelands Foundation presents the Freelands Awards 2026 to champion and celebrate UK visual art organisations’ commitment to art education. Every year, three organisations will each receive £100,000 for a recent or ongoing project demonstrating commitment to progressive art education approaches, and collaborate with Freelands Foundation on a short film that shares their offering.

To be eligible, organisations must be UK-based, have a charitable purpose and demonstrate programming that imagines, explores and connects people of all ages and from different contexts with art. Applications are due by midday, 24 March 2026.
